Team Fencebane

Team Fencebane was founded originally as the official guild of the Neverwinter Adventure Hour by former Community Managers, Sominator, Akromatik and StrumSlinger. TFB is one of the original guilds in the Tredecim Alliance. We’re a laid back, social guild, and we like to support players of all levels and experience. We also have many members who are engaged actively in end game content. We are a rank 20 guild with a fully developed Stronghold (and a fancy banquet hall!). We are committed to helping the other guilds in our Alliance also reach rank 20. Team Fencebane is proud to be a member of the Tredecim Alliance and this awesome, supportive community of player-members.

Our expectations for members are:

  • Be friendly and helpful to each other and to all of our alliance members.
  • Don’t constantly complain about the game, the Developers, etc. Constructive criticism is fine, but constant whining?….find a game you like better.
  • Never take advantage of an exploit of any kind in the game, and report it if you see one, and ask if you aren’t sure if something is an exploit. Exploiting will cause instant removal from guild and alliance.
  • We have a 90 day inactivity period. You’ll probably be removed to make room for someone else if you aren’t logged in within a 90 day period. If this happens, and you are removed and decide to return to the game, mail one of the officers and you will be re-invited if you left in good standing.
  • Take part in guild and alliance chat.
  • Donate to guild and alliance guilds’ mimics when there is a need for donations and you are able to.
  • Join guild and alliance groups to do daily activities when you can.
  • Follow alliance rules: “Don’t be a jerk” “Have fun” “Be considerate”
  • Keep an open mind, and don’t take things too personally. Everyone has an opinion on how things should work in the game. Express your opinions respectfully and listen to those of others with respect. We don’t all have to agree to be able to work together and enjoy the game.
  • Be respectful in all interactions, including guild and alliance chat. Your behavior and interactions reflect on our guild, and we take that seriously. If you have an issue with another player in guild or alliance do not try to resolve it in public chat. Go to PMs or some other private way of working out your differences. If you are not successful then take the issue to your guild leader and they will help resolve the problem. Screenshots of the conversation(s) will help leaders sort out the problem, so please use them.
  • Common Alliance Chat Rules are to be used by our guild members:
  • 1. Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion, race, etc.
  • 2. No trading or looking for buyers in Alliance chat. Use trade channels or PMs or other sanctioned means for that.
  • 3. Don’t beg for gear or other items. People often willingly help each other, but don’t appreciate others who are constantly asking for free stuff.
  • 4. Making groups in Alliance chat: Don’t ask for IL when you’re making a group, and no need to advertise yours. When forming groups in Alliance chat it’s first come first served. We are an inclusive Alliance, so if a member meets the requirements to join the challenge, they should be allowed in the group if they ask to join. Also try to fill your group in Alliance before going outside.
  • 5. If you are asked to discontinue a conversation then please do so.

Guild Ranks:

  • After a week of active participation upon joining the guild, you’ll be promoted to rank 2. That’s the only “automatic” promotion. After that, you’ll be promoted on the basis of active participation in chat and interacting with other members, both in guild and alliance, and contributing in whatever way you are able.
  • Members at rank 4 and above are able to invite new members to the guild.
  • Members at rank 5 and above are officers, and are expected to be role models for the members, and to offer leadership in all areas.
  • Members at rank 6 are guild leaders who are relied on more heavily. Because of recent changes in how we do the alliance rotation, many of our rank 6 characters are alts of rank 7 leaders.
  • Rank 7 is the ultimate leadership of the guild and final decision making. It’s very limited because of the nature of the alliance rotation, and will continue to be that way.

Guild Bank:

As you rank up in the guild you acquire more bank privileges. The bank is there for members to use through donating for others and taking things they will actually use. Here are some guidelines for using the guild bank:

* It’s encouraged, if you are in a position to do so, to donate something back when you take something out. That’s not always possible, so it’s not required.
* Leaders watch over the bank records and will let you know if it’s felt you need more guidance in proper usage.
* The strict rule is that you only take things for your own use. Taking items from the bank to sell and/or trade is strictly prohibited, and may result in being removed from the guild and alliance.
* If you have any questions about proper bank usage ask please!

Happy Hunting!
